As Baykon, we addressed our environmental sustainability and technological competencies with an integrated approach through our Corporate Green Transformation Project, which we carried out within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1831 Green Innovation Call.

At the beginning of the project, comprehensive trainings were organized to increase the awareness and competencies of our relevant teams. At the end of the training process, participants were presented with Ministry-approved certificates. This was a critical step in ensuring the active participation of all stakeholders in the transformation process.

Throughout the project, we analyzed our R&D, technology and innovation capacity on 24 parameters with the Innovation Scorecard digital assessment tool developed by ÜSİMP. The results we obtained allowed us to identify our areas of improvement while clarifying our strengths.

We conducted the entire process with the consultancy of Prongentech, which guided us with its expertise. As a result of the analysis and evaluations, a Green Transformation Roadmap specific to Baykon was created. This roadmap paved the way for us to shape our sustainability strategy with concrete steps.

In addition, within the scope of our compliance process with the European Green Deal, we successfully completed our carbon footprint calculation for 2023, prepared in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 standard. In line with these results, we plan our actions to reduce our environmental impact with a stronger and data-based approach.

As Baykon, we see sustainability not only as a goal, but also as a responsibility that is constantly evolving; we move confidently into the future in an integrated way with innovation.
