Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)

 

REACH aims to ensure a high level of protection for people and the environment in the use of chemicals. REACH applies to materials imported or manufactured into the EU in quantities greater than 1 tonne.

 

Compliance requires chemicals or substances containing chemicals to be registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) for use or import.
